About Clover:

Clover Tale is NOT pay to win. Without spending any money, I completed 100% achievements. Nothing unique or necessary is hidden behind a paywall. Only if you have little patience would you think this is pay to win (i.e. be tempted to spend money). As you gain experience points, you level up and get more total energy. After a few levels, your available energy amount is enough to play at least 6 – 7 rounds each session. If you choose strategically which locations to play during your sessions, you can knock out 2 or 3 quests at a time. When you open the game each day, you receive bonuses. Every 7th day, you earn a bonus which freezes your energy for 2 hours. Each week, freeze your energy, and combine it with another bonus which doubles your experience gain for 90 minutes; you can complete many quests and gain a couple levels from those 2 hours alone. When you gain enough experience in a location, your “mastery level” of that location goes up, and the RNG improves. If you get stuck on a level within a location, grind a lower level until your mastery level goes up, and then suddenly the higher levels are easier to complete. If you enjoy match-3, Clover Tale is quite fun and addicting, with 10 different locations (modes) to play. Though I have 100% Steam achievements, Clover Tale is fun enough that I will continue to play to earn the remaining in-game achievements and complete the remaining quests. Edit: It took me 40 hours to 100% this game.
